Old stand-bys DOLLAR COST AVERAGING, DIVERSITY and a LONG TERM APPROACH are emphasized. A Customer Service human is easy to contact and the company responds quickly to email questions. The investment choices, all no-load mutual funds, provides something for any type of investor. Though one can invest as little as $5 monthly, dont. The $1 a month fee is far too much on a small base. At a $5k balance the cost declines significantly. Neophyte investors have to realize the risks inherent in stock investing. YOU CAN LOSE MONEY! Some reviewers seemed distressed by this unavoidable fact.
